1. To provide practical guidelines for students to take part in various activities, enjoy
a colorful campus life and achieve balanced growth.
2. To set up prizes and offer recognition of students’ effort to facilitate their whole
person development in moral, intellectual, physical, social and aesthetic aspects.

About the Scheme
Phase 1 - Bronze Award
8 Stages in total
￭ Complete all items in Stage 1 (Basic Requirements)
￭ Complete 1 item in Stages 2-7 respectively
￭ Complete 6 items in Stage 8
Phase 2 - Silver Award
8 Stages in total
￭ Complete all items in Stage 1 (Basic Requirements)
￭ Complete 2 items in Stages 2-7 respectively
￭ Complete 9 items in Stage 8
Phase 3 – Gold Award
8 Stages in total
￭ Complete all items in Stage 1 (Basic Requirements)
￭ Complete 3 items in Stages 2-7 respectively
￭ Complete 12 items in Stage 8
Phase 4 – Gold Distinction Award
4 Stages in total
￭ Help junior students attain Gold, Silver or Bronze Award in a school year
￭ Complete specific items in Phase 4

How to Join
￭ Each student is automatically enrolled in the Scheme and provided with a "Self
development Award Scheme Booklet" and details of the scheme.
￭ Students should actively participate in school activities and check their progress
with the items listed in each stage. They should record their participation on the
"Review and Reflection Form", in order to develop their habit of self-reflection.
￭ Students should obtain teacher’s confirmation and signature within one month
upon completion of each item.
￭ Students who have completed any stage (Stage 1-7) should submit the signed
Booklet with the "Review and Reflection Form" to the Moral Education Committee
within the application period. Class teachers may evaluate students’ performance
in Stage 8, "Characteristics of an Ideal Student", and give the certificates to
students as approved by the Moral Education Committee.

Rules
￭ S1 – S3 students must complete Phases 1, 2 and 3 progressively (i.e. from
Bronze Award to Gold Award);
￭ S4 – S6 students can apply for Phases 1, 2, 3 and 4 awards according to their
own achievements;
￭ Students must complete Phase 3 if they wish to apply for the Gold Distinction
Award.
￭ Students who apply for awards must confirm all records are correct and true. If
fraud is found, severe punishment will be imposed.
￭ Any student who lost the Booklet must apply for a replacement.
￭ Application for awards can only be traced back to the second term of the
previous school year (except for CCA).
