The Mathematics Department has invited the Department of Mathematics, Statistics & Insurance from The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong to address the whole–form of S.5 students on the topic Applications of Big Data and Insurance Technology on November 23, 2022. The professor used many realistic but interesting examples to illustrate how Big Data exists and affects our life to arouse student’s interest in this module. Our students found the talk very informative and they agreed that this talk has widened their horizons in the upcoming S.6 JUPAS Programme Selection.
